Chris has been ordained (Elizabeth Presbytery in NJ), inducted into General Assembly Mission Council service in NYC, and educated (Johns Hopkins—BA, Princeton—Mdiv, and Union (NY)—PhD, Seminaries) in the print dispensation. After serving as a pastor and parent of three in Westchester County, NY, he returned to the PMA as Coordinator of the Advisory Committee for Social Witness Policy. He is married to chaplain Robin Hogle. Beyond books, he enjoys running, kayaking and soccer.

Managing Editor

Lee Catoe

A native of the small, rural town of Jefferson, South Carolina, Lee now calls Nashville, TN home. He is a graduate of Presbyterian College (2010) with a B.S. in Biology and a graduate of Vanderbilt Divinity School (2019) with a Masters of Divinity.  His thesis work incorporated the intersection of songwriting and Queer Theology with a focus on incarnational theology and embodiment.  Stereotypical of living in Nashville, Lee is a songwriter, plays guitar and, occasionally, performs. He also freelances as a graphic designer and Instagram manager for his beagle, Rupert (yes, he has an Instagram).

Editor Emeritus

Henry Koenig Stone

Originally from Rochester, NY, Henry comes from a long line of pastors and professors.  His family has practiced an equally long critical tradition of having “roast preacher” for Sunday lunch. Henry holds a B.A. in Economics (2015) from the University of Chicago and an M.P.P. (Health Policy Certificate, 2017) from UChicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. His past work has focused on policy analysis of healthcare pilot programs and public health systems.  A baritone and former member of Chicago Chorale, as well as several college a cappella groups, Henry is a fan of both sacred and irreverent vocal traditions.
